I’ve been coughing up worm-looking mucus in my phlegm and pulled one from my nose - I’m just recovering from a chest infection after antibiotics. As I’ve returned from Peru in July the Dr said it was worms and prescribed treatment, Even though I have had none of the expected symptoms. However I’ve passed another today. Having read an article on here from 2017, I’m now more inclined to think of these as bronchiole casts - accepting that I’ll be cautious.
