temperature still spiking after Antibiotics

Have had the flu and chest infection doing the rounds for two weeks . Ab x 3 lots finished and steroids last day . Happy to finish - feeling totally rubbish anyway from side effects .

Breathing better - but still slight chest discomfort when breathing or just sitting and coughing - no phlegm .

But my temperature is still lingering once in day but worse at night ... should I be worried ? Health anxiety coming back !! Should it have gone ?!

Just keep alternating between paracetamol and ibrupofen for a couple of days. Get well soon

It's probably more virus related so abx won't be of much use, and it's still working it's way out of your system. Just carry of with the paracetamol and ibuprofen, but if you start spiking higher temps or feel breathless or worse than now, you need to see the gp again.
