Endometrial ablation!

Ok. Who’s had an endometrial ablation and what is/was your outcome? What side effects did you have, if any, and do you regret the procedure or consider it the best thing you’ve done. Please share your experiences here. I had one four days ago and no pain of bleeding so far. No discharge which I’m slightly concerned about, but guessing there’s time for that? Spam me with your story 😁😁

No pain or bleeding so far. ☺️

I had one just over 3 years ago.
Mild pain for 24 hours.
No bleeding or discharge.
No periods for 2 years.
For the past year I get spotting (literally 2 drops or a smear on a tissue) every other month or so. In the same year I have had two ‘proper’ but light periods.
Absolutely marvellous considering I used to suffer heavy flooding every month.

Best thing I’ve ever had done ! I had very heavy periods in the last 3 years before this was recommended, dam cross i had to endure 3 years frankly.
I was about 40 years old. In the months following i had about two little shows of blood and then nothing ever again, it saved my sanity

Best thing I’ve EVER had done! 4 years now, no bleeding at all since. You won’t regret it, it’s fab. It’s changed my life

Had one maybe 7 years ago. A bit groggy from the GA for a few days. Had a week or two of watery discharge and then no periods since. No after effects.
It was a very good thing for me.

I had mine done 3 years ago, and sterilised at the same time. No pain, no bloating, no bleeding.

Like a PP, no bleeding for 2 years; now maybe 2 days very light flow each month. Cramps are also gone.

It’s great to hear all these success stories. A group on FB have nothing but horrendous stories to tell and if you ask for positives they shoot you down like it’s the worst thing ever. Obviously some women will have bad experiences, but that’s all that group is. They’re nasty some of them, too. Great to hear the plus points, ladies. Thanks for your comments 😊
