Hello
I’ve recently had a diagnosis of osteo arthritis, specifically in one knee symptomatically, although the disease is apparently widespread. I’ve been advised to exercise and take pain relief.
The thing is, I’m never pain free, movement is limited - I can’t go down to the floor and get up for instance - and I’m tired ; in short, my whole quality of life, my ability to function etc is compromised much more than the clinical diagnosis suggested.
The impact on my life seems disproportionate to the diagnosis, and all I’m told is to exercise and take pain relief. I do; the impact of that on pain relief and mobility so far is minimal.
So, fellow sufferers, do you have any advice? Thank you in advance.
