Swollen lymph nodes in neck

For the last few years I have had a swollen cervical lymph node on the right of my neck. It has been checked and got no bigger or smaller. I’ve had another almond shaped lump scanned and checked recently which was fine.

I now have another swollen lymph node on the left almost identical to the one on the other side. I’ve not had an infection and it is painless so yet again I am worried it could be lymphoma.

Should I book an appointment to get it checked? It seems like an obvious yes but I’ve had various swollen lymph nodes checked so much and I wonder if they will get fed up I keep going in with them.

Of course go and have it checked, OP. You will not have peace of mind until you do.
Also, think of the logical absurdity of not going:
“I had a harmless lump twice, therefore for the rest of my life any new lump will also be harmless. I will never get cancer.”
Not a very sensible position, is it?!
Obviously I hope your latest lump is equally benign, but neither you nor I can tell that without an examination.
Get thee to the GP, and do not worry that you are wasting their time - you aren’t. Good luck!

Thanks. I did and he said it is just another node that I seem to get like that. Gah the stress of them

Lymph nodes wax and wane in size with infections (“your glands are up”) , that’s a normal and healthy function. In future, see your GP if new neck nodes persist for over 6 weeks without going back down, or if they continue to steadily enlarge.
