Pneumonia

A relative in their 20’s had pneumonia with an abscess on the lung & was kept in hospital on intravenous antibiotics
However the abscess burst and the lungs started filling with fluid first the docs said wait for antibiotics to kick in then change of plan drain the lung & operate to repair the lung we don’t know what to think

It is unlikely anyone with any medical qualification is going to offer advice of any substance over the internet, you would be best discussing with the professionals treating.

Your relative can speak to the doctors about the plan and what is the best treatment.
