It's very difficult to get a drs appointment at my local practice of late, and I'd rather not bother them with this if it can be remedied at home!

Out of the blue yesterday AM, I awoke with a sort of trapped nerve pain in my foot.
Flexed it a bit and it hurt more. Got through the day without paying it much attention, but throughout had a notable ache in the ball of my foot.

Today it's much more painful, to the point where I can't walk without limping.

The pain can be pinpointed to the pad of the ball of my foot. The pain radiates if I massage the area. It sort of feels tender, like a bruise. There's no swelling.

I've taken ibuprofen which seems to have dulled it slightly.

No recent local trauma to the foot and I've been wearing my usual comfy trainers.

Wait and see, or try and get an appointment?

Huge thanks Thanks
