Do I need to go to the GP?

Because I am just so exhausted. I am constantly tired, cold and my whole body aches.
I haven't been to the GP for nearly a year as I really hate feeling like I'm wasting their time. But I just can't go on with this, I slept for over 9 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and I was still so tired, I want to sleep now and it's only 9pm.
I'm 23, I have quite a stressful job and feel quite overwhelmed while feeling this.
Shall I book a GP app or am I being stupid?

Of course you should! Ask for blood tests. You could have all manner of treatable conditions - thyroid problems, iron deficiency (common in young women), vitamin D deficiency (I had this and felt how you describe).

Go and get checked out!

How long have you felt like this?
It sounds like a virus if it’s been days- week. If it’s been months I would go.

@FemininPluriel @Bickles thank you, I was just worried i was being silly. I haven't felt 'my usual self' for about 2 months but the last two weeks have been horrendous... I'll ring the GP tomorrow. Thank you x

I second Feminin, get your bloods done. It can't hurt and you definitely won't be wasting your GP's time if it gives you an answer, or just peace of mind.

I had this - was anaemia with zilch vitamin d.

I could have written this. I am B12 deficient so tiredness is nothing new, but this is exhaustion like I've never experienced. Like you, I'm getting plenty of sleep. I'm going to book an app so I hope you do too.
