3yo crying at preschool

So my 3yo has began crying when another child at preschool makes a loud noise, be it a happy or sad noise. He's also crying during them signing their nativity songs but the staff don't know why.
He's a very noisy boy at home and thinks nothing of shouting, singing and banging anything and everything from dawn to dusk. Preschool drop off is fine and at pick up he's happy.
We have a 5mo as well so it's not like noises are just by him at home.
He doesn't seem to play with any children particular but he will join in with a group, I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this or if it's normal for his age and I'm just worried about something he's likely to grow out of.

He's also taken to randomly repeating the same thing to me throughout the day or as an answer to a question. It's always the same sentence and we could be sat quietly watching tele and he'll just come out with it.

Preschool aren't worried they just say he's very sensitive but he's not like it anywhere else. He's very loving but equally gets very angry very quickly when at home.

Any advice on helping him greatfully received.
