Parathyroid surgery

I’m having surgery tomorrow and I’m so afraid it’s going to aggravate my neck problems. I have chronic neck pain from a past cracked disc and pinched nerve. I’m going to tell the doc and anesthesiologist. It’s probably inevitable. Has anyone had this surgery?

I had it about 3 years ago. Mine was very straightforward- the adenoma was actually in my thymus and not in my neck. One night in hospital and home.

Make sure they keep an eye on your calcium levels after as mine dropped very low.

I didn’t have a neck problem so can’t help you with that but good luck for tomorrow.
