Painful infection, help!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant but this issue isn't pregnancy related which is why I'm posting here...

The other day I was trimming my bikini line area and because of my huge bump I had to look threw a mirror and ended up not doing a very good job. It seems I had some ingrown hair which have now become infected, all in one area. It's so painful and I can see the pus (sorry tmi!) but I can't touch it as it's sore and angry....I've been trying to clean the area with savlon and just trying to wait it out...called GP and they said to call in the morning for a same day appointment so I'll do that. Anything else I can do in the meantime?!

I’d try a warm compress to draw the pus out.
Run a flannel under the hot tap and when it is warm (not hot -that will hurt) place it on the sore bit until it cools down. Repeat until you’ve been doing it for 10-15 mins.

... but if it hurts a lot you might be better off leaving it alone and not risking making it angrier!

Warm compress tea tree oil IF it doesnt sting-test tiny patch first!

Saw the GP yesterday and she agreed it looked quite bad so I started antibiotics :(

Just waiting for them to kick in now...
