Warning: Don't give cough medicine to under 2yo!

I just saw this article in the New York Times about the potential hazards of giving over-the-counter cough medicine to babies under 2 years old:

but surely ones that say for under two's are ok?

I guess so. I think the problem is when some cough meds look like they are for babies but then say not to give them to under 2s without seeing a doctor first. A lot of people ignore that warning. The article makes it sound like all cough medicine can be problematic for under 2s...
