had all been scabbed over but still got purple marks where the chicken pox where. How long does it take to completely clear up?

it can take several months for the scarring to fade. My dd had them about 4 months ago and still has a couple of scars from the worst spots - 1 on her forehead and 1 under her arm. She has a few smaller ones too but those are the most noticeable ones.

Its quite important that you keep them out the sun and put vitamin E oil on which helps the skin heal. You can buy a product like Bio Oil and put it on the spots otherwise they scar.

I had a very bad case as a child and I have little white scars all over my skin.
