Nausea, extreme tiredness, sore boobs, negative preg test - what the blinking flip is going on?

I'm so bloody fed up of this, the last three days I've been starting to feel sick by about 4pm, haven't actually vomited but have been unable to eat dinner, my boobs are killing me (I'm bfing and they are really sore and swollen), I went to bed at 7pm last night and am so knackered now I want to go to bed but DH is insisting I eat and EVERYTHING smells horrible. Even clean nappies smell bad to me at the minute

In all respects I am acting like a newly pregnant person (except last time I was pregnant I vomited in the mornings not the afternoon) so I did I a test. Negative. I also had my first period for 18 months a week or so ago. So very bloody confused and cross. Did I mention I am a hormonal cow all of a sudden who is overreacting to everything (though I have a ficking MOUSE running round the living room and I'm not overreacting to be very cross about that!)

Bloodysoddingcatbringinginverminandnotkillingthebastards!

I don't think I can be pregnant, I've only had sex twice in ten months (once four months ago and once six or seven weeks ago) and yes I know it only takes once, but once again the test says no.

HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! This is driving me barmy!

Can I be having a phantom pregnancy? I don't feel like a mad person (any more than usual).

sounds like you may be pregnant
Take another test in the next few days,

I'm NOT pregnant!

I took a test yesterday, six weeks after having sex, negative. I had a period FFS. Grrrrrr....it has to be something else.

Have you dropped any feeds recently? These things always happen to me after dropping a feed.

whomovedmychocolate · 16/08/2007 20:31

Ha chance would be a fine thing, the little monkey is hungry as ever (99th percentile - she doesn't go short of a few feeds!)

Sorry Lillymolly (did say I was a grumpy cow didn't I) .

I thought that too but it was really heavy and the pregnancy test was very definitely negative. Would be v happy is I was pregnant though

You are forgiven!
Try not to worry, maybe go to the doctors?

whomovedmychocolate · 16/08/2007 21:33

Hmm DH says I'm going whether I like it or not tomorrow (he's very worried, I've never knowingly left food before ).

Thanks, I think you are right. If I hadn't had the pregnancy test I would seriously be thinking I was up the duff! Very confusing.
