I've been taking painkillers and ibuprofen I've only got my antibiotics off the dentist today so only on my 2nd tablet but I'm still in so much pain. Clove oil doesn't seem to working anymore. The dentist done an xray but as there was a queue for the machine he sent me on with the prescription. I've to go back in 2 weeks as he's off all next week. I'm in so much pain it was bad for 3 days I was in tears it was that bad it eased up yesterday now nothing is working. I'm usually good with pain but this I can't bear 😭 any tips/advice. Tia

Have you tried the spray that numbs sore throats ?
or them ,
www.boots.com/dequadin-0-25mg-lozenges-40-lozenges-10086846 .
They work if you put them between your tooth and cheek but they are getting hard to get hold of .

failing that rinse with salt water every half hour or so , a warm hot water bottle and swill with whisky if all else fails !

I've never even knew about them I'll go get them tomorrow. The pain as eased abit but I no it will be couple hours and it will be back to being in agony. I think i took to much ibuprofen the other night that's why it eased. Just hoping tomorrow the antibiotics kick in. Thank you Smile
