first period since DS and just went on the depo injection

I got my first depo injection about a month ago. I hadn't had a period since Dec 2004.
On saturday I started. But it's really really light. I used to have realy heavy periods. could this be a change because of the depo?

if i remember rightly i had some light bleeding from time to time over the first few months, after that my periods stopped completely

Could be.It does mess with system a bit but could also just be time for a change as we all change over the years
There is loads of info on this injection on web.
Must point out am against it as it really screwed my body up also messed up others I've spoken to in RL and on web.

and can i add that my periods didnt come back for 2 years after i had stopped getting it
