Can’t get to a GP all that easily , whole day off work needed .
But I have had maybe 5 or more attacks of what I thought just really bad trapped wind / indigestion in since about March.
Intense pain at top of abdomen. Like I want to pass out, similar level of intensity of mid way labour pain.
Lasts for about an hour to 3 hours. But last few episodes have resulted in aching pain lasting into the next day. It feels like I have something jammed under my breast bone. Also stabbing pain right arm.
Anyone experienced this? I really don’t want to go to GP to find out I just need a good fart. Blush

Sounds like it get to GP

Yes, sounds like exactly how it was for me. Pop to the doctor, get referred, wee op, and then right as rain.

Yeah sounds like it and don't muck about with it. I ended up jaundiced in hospital a week when one got stuck in my bile duct. Get ye straight to the doctors.

Sounds exactly like I've experienced for just over a month.

I actually called myself an Ambulance because I was in so much pain that spread into my chest and my arms went numb.
I had an ultrasound scan and found my gallbladder is full of stones however my GP won't refer me on for removal as I've only had 1 episode. I'll need to have them regularly in order for her to consider it. I'm dreading another 'attack'. It really was agony.

Milli.... I can totally understand why you called an ambulance. My husband wanted to at one point last night, but I sort of knew it wasn’t life threatening.
If we are suffering the same thing I did find laying in a warm bath relieved the symptoms eventually . Maybe try that next time. Sympathies .
