hello
please excuse any typos and foul language i am still in shock lol.
we were told we should know by 10-11pm if it was happening, and we finnaly got the nod after 12 that it was very likely top go ahead, and to get him prepped. even then it wasnt 100%, but when Jason came in and said 'yes its going ahead, we have 10mins' i literally collasped in tears. i cant put into words how i was feeling at that point, as its indescribable. i gave peter a very watery hug, and i didnt want to let him go. Its a very risky op, and now he is going through the hard bit with the LVAD removal and getting the new heart in. we wont hear till about lunchtime, and am sitting here trying to think what to do. nothing is holding my attention. i'm in a strange place even though i am at home with my children.
Will update as i know whats happening, but may be off to the hospital later on. my dad is taking the older two down to the caravan for me friday, so will only have serena to get a sitter for, which is easier.
thank you for all the good wishes so far, but the scary bit isnt over yet. so keep them coming please
