Allergic reaction to Vicks First Defence?

Just wondering if anybody had the same as me? I was using this nasal spray as DH has a cold.

Used today...my head felt like it was about to explode! The pain was terrible. My eyes swelled up and went blurry. I was home alone and honestly thought I was having a stroke. DH came home from work.

I rang 111 and they advised me to take an antihistamine and paracetamol. Feeling a bit better now but my eyes are still a bit puffy and head is sore.

I just tried some this morning to try and prevent a cold I can feel coming and just had the exact same reaction. I've used it before and it usually causes sneezing etc but this time the whole right side of my head was in agony and a stroke did cross my mind. It was about 2 hours ago and is starting to settle down now after my partner took one look at me and gave me the same recommendation you got. Yikes! I won't be using that again.
