Can anyone recommend jar foods that won't cause constipation?

Hi, I recently took ds away for a weekend and gave him jars (hipp organic) but they have made him really constipated. He is so obviously trying to poo and can't it's really awful to watch.
This weekend I am away at a festival and will need to rely on jars again for some of the meals. I will give him fresh food where possible but it might not always be possible. Has anyone had experience of jars causing constipation and have you found an alternative?

I usually have the opposite problem as jars are so "wet" compared to my homemade food. We've mostly use Hipp Organic of Heinz Mum's Own. Can you up his fluid intake, offer him prunes and maybe some apple - should get his system going again.
