I found one lump, they found two.

I found a lump a while ago, in between by noon and armpit and I left it about 2 months checking it regularularly to make sure it wasn't hormonal etc.
I was referred to an ultrasound which I had yesterday and they indeed found the lump I did as well as a smaller lump next to it. She said they look benign but to go to drs in two weeks to arrange more tests.
Has anyone had anything like this before or know what the tests will be? I'm assuming it might be biopsies but I've got myself all worried now there is a second one. I would of been a bit calmer if it was just the one.

That's weird they didn't just biopsy them the and there - they can't of been that concerned? I had a fibroadenoma... it could be that? Did they say if they contained fluid? That would be a cyst if so and if not maybe a fibroadenoma x

I went with pain and no lumps and the ultrasound picked up one which was a cyst and one which has turned out to be a Fibroadenoma. It was quite a shock as my GP and the consultant didn't feel anything although admittedly they were very small.

I had a biopsy straight away, do you know why they didn't do that?

I currently have breast cancer and when they did my ultrasound they seemed to know straight away if that reassures you? Also surprised they didn't do a biopsy to be on the safe side but perhaps they're just treating it as non-urgent?

I had a call from the drs on Friday to make an appointment as soon as possible so I am going tomorrow afternoon I'm just hoping it's to arrange whatever other tests they need to
