Suddenly faint.

I was standing in the kitchen this morning and felt fine, suddenly had this feeling of 'I need to lie down, I'm going to throw up' and had black infront of my eyes and my ears were ringing and had this whooshing sound? I was so sweaty too.

Still feeling rubbish now with a bad headache, I've eaten some breakfast and drinking water but I feel like I just need to sleep!

So annoyed as I had plans today with my friend and I hate letting her down as I have done previously (due to having epilepsy).

Has anyone else had sudden faintness occur??

I know very little about epilepsy but could this have been a petit mal episode?

I get this sometimes too. Low blood pressure?

I've been getting this for quite a few years but only very occasionally. I have been checked heart wise and had a head scan. Nothing found so put down to vasovagal. Apparently the bp and heart rate drops suddenly, usually there's a reason like hot stuffy room, stress etc but sometimes no apparent cause.

@Footle I'm not sure actually, I've only ever had grand mal seizures so I'd have to ask my neurologist!

@Robs20 must have been! I feel fine now after sleeping it off and eating breakfast, it came on so suddenly.

@Oldmum55 must have been a combo of getting up quickly and having the heating on? How often do you experience them?

Blankets once every 2 years or so, so never had them investigated until recently when I fully passed out! Occasionally it has been when I was unwell for other reasons but usually something minor or even nothing at all! Getting up quickly could have done it in your case.
