Levothyroxine - Periods

Hey all. Currently on 50mcg of levo for several months now, and for the past few months have had 27 day periods, down from my normal 30-32 days. This month... Nada. Currently on cycle day 34 and not even a hint beyond a tiny bit of period cramp but no period bloody came, excuse the pun.

Not pregnant unless I'm the Virgin Mary.

Before I started it they were always regular.

How recently have you had your dose reviewed? Seems like you may need another blood test / review

50 is a base dose - needs to be reviewed every month initially so it can be adjusted as needed

@Teddybear45 I've just been put up to 50mg and told they'll review in 8 weeks??

@Andysbestadventure I'm amazed you've said this as now you come to mention it - yes!! My cycles have been getting longer & longer and I've only been on 50mg for a month. I was on 25mg for 3 months prior and even then my cycle was going up to 40+ days!
