I've had lots of UTIsover the last 5 years. I've recently heard that D-mannose can help to stop them. Has anyone tried it and does it work? Any advice, thanks.

Yes, I have tried it in the past, and I can confirm it does work! I keep a supply on standby just in case.

I use it too. Seems to help

The trick is to drink a D-mannose sachet before sex, I think (correct me if I'm being presumptuous, sex is the universal trigger...) so that you can flush away all the bacteria with your super-charged pee afterwards.

I do believe there's some evidence that pro-biotics are useful.

Lastly, consider wipes before sex - they have a bad rap for being an ecological hazard and perfumed nonsense, but there are some on the market that are specifically for UTI prevention.
