I got herpes around 20 years ago and I had previously thought I'd had only a few mild outbreaks over the years that mostly seemed like a tear, kind of itchy but nothing major and they all passed in a few days and no big deal.
Now I'm wondering if I've never had a subsequent outbreak because this week I got a completely different thing, which I can only describe as something like a mouth ulcer but, different location obviously. Super painful but only to the touch.
Not sexually active at the moment.
Any thoughts?
