Dental implant anyone?

I had a lower molar removed this week. The gap isn't visible, as far as I can tell, unless I open my mouth wide and someone was having a good look! Grin

Anyway, discussed the possibility of having an implant at a later date. And was wondering if anyone has any experience or advice re getting an implant. Is it worth it?

Tia!

Ooh thanks for the reporting @Molly333!

Because of the position of my gap, the cosmetic look is less of a worry so I was wondering particularly about the other aspects, dental hygiene and ease of eating in comparison to leaving an empty space.
