Large haemorrhage

Sorry if TMI but I was asleep then woke up just seconds before I thought I wet myself, but actually I had had quite a big haemorrhage, with big clots and everything. Not due on at all, and no chance of being pregnant. Never experienced anything like that in my life. I feel fine in myself but it was a massive shock. Have made a GP appt for tomorrow but I'm not sure how to phone in to explain it at work when I need to give a reason for being off, what the heck happened?

Tbh, I would just say that I’d been unwell overnight, and needed to see The GP. If pressed I would say I’d had a large unexpected bleed. They probably won’t ask much more.

Thanks coldhandscoldheart that's what I said in the end. GP was great. She ran tests and has referred me for more.
They did still ask if I was going to be able to go into work tomorrow though.

Ha, well they always will.
Sorry I had meant to say I hope you feel better and get some answers soon.
