Long standing lump on labia

Well, every so often I get worked up about a very small lump thing that I have on one of my outer labia.

I reckon it's been there for at least ten years and I had it checked out a few years back.

It's about 2-3mm in diameter, slightly raised, circular and like a hardish texture best described as similar to thick skin. It's on the surface of my outer labia, but just inside if that makes sense? It's darkish in colour and so visible if you're looking for it!

It doesn't cause any trouble, just very occasionally gets slightly unfomfortable.

I think it may date back several years to when I went to my GP with a 'thing' on my labia. I remember her squeezing it really hard and it sort of popped. I didn't think too much about it after that, but I think it never completely went away.

I can't be sure but I think what I have now is possibly related to that. I saw another GP a few years ago and she said she didn't know what it was but was not concerned by it.

It hasn't changed in any way but I just become aware of it now and again and start to worry.

It doesn't look like any images of vulval cancer and I wonder if it might be an angiokeratoma?

Just after some thoughts really, has anyone had similar? I guess the only way I'll know for sure is to go back to GP, but feel a bit daft.

Op, did you go back to the gp?
I've just come across your post as I did a search for angiokeratoma as I think I may have a few of them in the same place as you.

Hope somebody managed to put your mind at rest.
