Help, Dh has very puffy eye and flaky skin, looks horriod!

Dh's eye puffed up yesterday (under his eye), thought he had a reaction so he took piraton, this morning it looks ten times worse and his skin on his face ir red and flakey. What could this be?

can he get to a pharmacist
or call NHS Direct

I have been at work all day so dh could'nt get to pharmacist, seems to be getting worse, he said he will go to gp in the morning.
