Are there any sufferers here? Has anybody found anything that actually resolves this?

I have TOS, which causes tightness in my shoulder and neck, pain in both, and nerve dysfunction in my arm (pain, tingling, numbness in fingers 4&5). My arm feels generally different to the other one at all times, the reflexes are not as fast, and it feels stiff and painful a lot of the time. I also lose grip sometimes when holding things, particularly when I wedge something under my arm.

I had a nerve conduction study and EMG 3 years ago, and an MRI on my neck. No surgery required at that time, and the MRI was clear. They found damage to the ulna nerve in my arm.

I have over the last 5 years or so seen physiotherapists, a chiropractor, and I am currently seeing an osteopath. I have also been doing pilates once a week for 3 years.

I took amitriptyline for a year or so, but didn't like the fogginess it caused me and so gave up on that in order to find a solution to the cause rather than the symptom.

Are there any fellow sufferers here? Have you found anything that works? I have seen reference to botox injections into the neck muscles, and wondered if that might help.

How do you cope with it?
