Over the last two years my eyesight has deteriorated needto wear bifocals. What has happened lately is I have become so sensitive to sound where I literally jump at any sort of sharp sounding noise and then notice my brain feels like its slightly squashed when the noise happens and there is a lot of pressure inside my head and behind my eyes

I presume youve had a thorough eye examination? Are you short sighted? if so do you know your prescription? Does your optometrist have an OCT scanner and retinal camera and if so, did you avail yourself of it?

I think you need to see a GP urgently to rule out neurological causes

I have bi-focals as I am short and long sighted but I can feel a lot of pressure inside my head thanks for the advice I will visit the opticians I think and maybe the GP

You're very young to have close up vision problems. Any double vision?

I would second another eye exam and see GP
