My adult son has come out in a rash of bright red raised spots, spaced quite far apart, for now he has asked at our local pharmacy as they are usually very good at giving a diagnosis,if they can, but they don't know,he cant get to see the Dr until friday, but i am quite worried,i have never seem a rash like this
Anyone got any ideas please,he doesn't feel ill with it?
I wondered if it was an allergy to a new duvet he has ,or new quilt cover

Red spots went from red to brown to black, ,started on his legs and arms, now now on face
He has got an appointment at the Drs today
He was very worried about meningitis, but has no more symptoms
Hopefully there might be a nurse or Dr on here who might have an ida
I wonder if it connected with some mussels he had from a chinese takeaway, 2 nights running, then the spots came out

Have you got a photo OP? Are they only on one side?

Flatwhite thank you for your reply, he has seen the Dr now and he doesn't know what it is, but did say it could be due to any medication he's taking, at least my son doesn't feel ill with it
It isn't all on one side,it is scattered,
Not shingles if that is what you were thinking,i had that last year and would have recognised it
Thank you though
