Laundry capsule in Eye

Stupidly popped a laundry capsule in my eye at about 4pm , washed my eye straight away under water for about 10 minutes, was still sore hour after. Anyway fast forward to this evening I've had a shower and washed my eye out again underneath that.
My eye is still irritating me and the tiniest bit blurry in one spot.

Question is what else can I do? I'm quite paranoid now about waking up tomorrow with it really bad .. I don't want to go to a&e and waste there time?

Ring 111 and ask their advice.

111 or A&E less you in London then go to Moorfields -

Not worth taking any risks -

I think it’s a&e. It’s corrosive and you don’t want to mess around with your eyesight.

NisekoWhistler · 12/09/2019 21:15

There is an emergency number on he laundry capsule box, please telephone them, they operate 24/7

I would go to A&E as this happened to my friend and they had to keep testing the PH of her eye after washing it out with a neutralising solution to make sure it didn't burn her cornea.

I'd ring 111 and find out where to go.

I wouldn't go straight to a&e as many areas have specialist eye hospitals, which may or may not be open at this hour.

yeah, eyes and chemicals is one of the things you don't mess around with. I would go to A&E, and I am like you very paranoid about tine-wasting.....
good luck, hope you get it sorted.
