Anyone know anything about 3 month jabs?

Health authority has forgotten to book DS in for his 3 month jabs - I only realised I hadn't had an appointment through when reading a MN message. I rang them this morning and 'due to a technical error' he has been overlooked, the first appointment they can offer me with a nurse to have them done is 4 September when DS will be nearly 4 months old and due the next set of jabs. And no, a doctor can't do them. And no, I can't have them done at a different medical centre.

Does it matter? We're not going anywhere exotic in the next month (unless you count Germany) so the chances of him coming into contact with polio etc are very slim. I don't want to mess up the whole innoculation process though.

Should I try to have them done privately? And does anyone know how I might find someone who will do them?

They can safely be delayed. Often they are delayed because on the day of the appointment the baby is unwell. They can't be done sooner than they should, but can be done later.

Thanks, that's put my mind at rest.
