MRI scan!

So I have just got out of hospital after 3 days as went in with suspected meningitis all tests came back clear including a c.t scan chest x ray and a lumber puncture....now they have checked my reflexes and my right leg and arm is very weak ..they have put me in for an urgent mri scan this friday I am terrified on what they are looking for...has anyone else ever experienced this??

Coco89 I recently had to have a MRI following a CT. Of course I thought of all possible things especially as I have health anxiety, but in the end nothing was found. So just go ahead and go from there.

No, but I had an MRI a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't as claustrophobic as I'd feared. I think I might have even fallen asleep despite the clunking and thumping. Just don't worry about what they MAY find, just relax and leave it to them, and you'll be fine. Fingers X it's nothing serious,

It sounds like they are just double-checking that everything is OK. It’s good they are being thorough. Remember you’ve already had a normal CT brain scan.
