NHS Medical Card - Still in use?!

Hi, I need to use my daughter's nhs medical card as ID (listed by our local council as acceptable ID for secondary school application), but I noticed it has a very old address and we have since moved. I called our GP surgery to find out how to get the address changed and new card issued, but the receptionist didnt even know what it was, apparently, it is now obsolite?

I cant find any information on google on how to update date it or to even varify that they even are issued anymore. Can anyone help please? I've included a link to an image of one I found on line that looks exactly like our ones.

Many thanks

That is true they are no longer in use. You can't get an up to date address using an nhs card

You will have to use another form of ID. What is on the list?

Thanks, saves me perusing this. I will have to get a copy of the child benefit letter.
