Accidental weight loss

I’m getting worried here.
I haven’t been feeling ‘right’ for about a month now and saw the GP who ordered a bunch of tests.

The blood test came back showing I am anaemic which explains a lot of my symptoms. It also showed that my blood count is low and that it means I am bleeding internally from somewhere.

The urine test had blood in it.

In the last month without any change to appetite or diet I have dropped about a stone in weight and dropped a dress size.

I have plenty of weight to spare so am not in danger of becoming underweight but it has got me worried.

I understand from Dr Google (i know!) that unintended weight loss can be a sign of cancer.

I’m 43. Mum to 2 teenage boys.

It can be a sign of a lot of things, many trivial and many less so.

Dr Google can be useful but you are already past that stage having seen your GP and getting tests done. No doubt your GP is following up on the blood tests and this is far more useful than googling.
