I have a really bad issue in that I have an addiction to chewing gum and swallowing it . I’ve done this for the last four years or so particularly at work . Recently I’ve been having more and more bowel issues and I’ve got myself worried now that the gum could be an issue . I go through about three packets a day . I know it’s stupid but I have a phobia of spitting it out . Is there anyone who can advise about this I don’t want to go to Gp and make an idiot of myself .
