Can chest pains be from low iron?

I have chest pains almost everyday.
Not like a crushing pressure pain just a short sharp stabbing pains or like a little zap in the centre of my chest.
I've had these investigated before at the doctors and at a&e (blood test, xray and ecg) all come back normal.
I used to be on ferrous sulphate for low iron but when my levels went up to 'normal' I stopped taking them as they gave me runs. But I know your levels can drop again when you stop.
Could these chest pains be from low iron?
Ive got the doctors tomorrow and blood test Wednesday so we'll see.

Yes, I believe it could be possible. I have very low iron and have had tightness in my chest, sudden pains/weakness, itchy skin, as well as other strange symptoms. Buy some Spa Tone sachets and see if your symptoms improve

It is possible, I had all the investigations for chest pain, palpitations and breathlessness inc ecg and a 7day heart monitor but nothing came back other than low iron. Symptoms went away after taking tablets for a while. Feroglobin is good for a boost too.

From the NHS website, symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia include:

tiredness and lack of energy
shortness of breath
noticeable heartbeats (heart palpitations)
pale skin
Less common symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia
Less common symptoms of iron deficiency anaemia (that are not usually connected to pregnancy) include:

headaches
hearing ringing, buzzing or hissing noises inside your head (tinnitus)
food tasting strange
feeling itchy
a sore tongue
hair loss – you notice more hair coming out when brushing or washing it
wanting to eat non-food items, such as paper or ice (pica)
finding it hard to swallow (dysphagia)
painful open sores (ulcers) in the corners of your mouth
spoon-shaped nails
restless legs syndrome

If your iron is persistently low ask for the cause to be identified and treated.
Rarely it can be an indication of a more serious problem so don't be fobbed off.

It seems that taking supplements to get levels to normal, then stopping, waiting for levels to fall and having to take the supplements again is not very effective.
There might be another form of iron that is easier on your digestive system.

@Emptyspacex Have you considered Precordial Catch Syndrome? It shows as sharp pain that lasts only a few minutes, it's painful to take a breath in, but no problem with breathing. Supposedly, it's pinched nerve or spasm in that area. Try magnesium too. Also, it seems to come more often when stressed. It's not dangerous. But I also wonder if it's low iron related. Can you tell me if the issue went away after supplementing with iron?
