Got bitten by insect three weeks ago, couple of newer bites in area but still puffy, hot, hard and red. Should I keep going with over the counter remedies?

Cant get a great picture as it is towards the inside to back of my leg.

I have had about four of these over the last month or so - look very similar to yours.
I assumed they were giant mossies??

I didnt see what stung me.

I'd phone 111 and see what they suggest. My DD was bitten/stung a week ago, and it continued to swell and be puffy and red despite taking anti-histamines, putting anti-histamine cream on and taking anti-inflammatories for a couple of days. Se we phoned 111, who sent us to an out of hours appt at the local hospital (it was bank holiday weekend) and a week of antibiotics have done the trick.
