This is driving me mad...it's been itchy off and on for about a month. Got hydrocortisone from the nurse which helped a bit but now it's back - nothing at all to see and definitely not an sti of any kind. Any ideas anyone? Will need to make a return visit I guess!

Try cotton underwear rather than synthetic so your bits don't get too hot.

Sweat rash?

Seaweed42 · 02/09/2019 13:32

It could be localised eczema. I used to get this frequently. Not any more since menopause. It just appeared and then was triggered by hormones at end of period, also alcohol etc. Doc gave me Betnovate, a steroid ointment which stopped it immediately. If it's eczema then it will just re-occur like that and you just treat it each time. You need a steroid ointment on prescription from the GP.
