Does anyone have any experience of hernias and getting them fixed? I have had one around 8 years and I think it has got slightly bigger-it is now painful (just achy) not concerning but I'm aware it's there and it can feel a bit 'burny'. The dr ha said surgery is no longer available on nhs as it is considered cosmetic but I know this is not the case for everyone. Do you know what criteria you must meet in order to have it repaired?
