I’m wondering if anyone can give me some advice? I am due to go in for my 4th toenail surgery, I’ve had so much trouble with it and it just keeps coming back and ingrowing again very painfully. Due to go in for Zadiks, however I’ve waited so long that the part of the nail that was digging in has mainly snapped off, and it is only digging in a tiny bit now as oppose to a lot. I do however have granulation tissue and an open wound which is incredibly painful.
My question is, would you still go in or cancel the surgery? I’m worried I’ll go into hospital and the doctor will wonder why I bothered turning up! But if the nail isn’t removed I know it will just happen again :( I just don’t want them to be angry at me!
