Hoping someone can advise. I had a second round of photodynamic therapy for Bowen's disease on my face today. 1st round was painful but tolerable, a bit uncomfortable afterwards, wound went gross and then healed quite quickly. Had my second round of therapy today (a week later) and it hurt a lot more and the pain ever since is so bad. I have taken paracetamol and ibuprofen but it's so sore. I feel like it's still burning under the dressing and someone has dropped salt into the wound. I know it's only been a few hours but I can't see how I could sleep in this much pain and I just want someone knowledgeable to tell me it's OK and it will get better in a few hours...
