Toothache getting worse

I've had a couple of drinks tonight - how soon will I be able to take painkillers? I had paracetamol and ibuprofen at 6 ish but the pain is much worse now. I have cocodomal - will I be able to take some tomorrow? I have an infection, identified by dentist last week, but he said as it wasn't active, no need for antibiotics.

Hold really hot salty water in your mouth over the tooth, as hot as you can bear it. Helped me when i has a wee abscess. And back to the dentist! Maybe wait a few hours before having codine x

Thanks, I don't think I could bear hot on it tbh. I have some amoxycillin that's still in date. Will start that tomorrow. Poured my second drink away anyhow so not had much alcohol.
