What is wrong with me??

I will be booking an appointment with my gp tomorrow morning, but I was really after some help with some things that have been going on with my body.

So, I’m 20 years old, I had two periods within the space of 2 weeks, the second one lasted roughly 3 days. Everything was fine until I started spotting very heavily- I am used to spotting whilst ovulating but this lasted 2 weeks exactly (no pain/cramps). The worrying part is I have not had my period for 2 and a bit months now, but they have always been very irregular so I didn’t think too much of it.

I took a pregnancy test and it came back that I wasn’t pregnant so I wasn’t too worried at that time..
Until yesterday I vomited 4 times in the morning, I have never been a morning person and I’m very sensitive to any smells and I work in a restaurant so this isn’t ideal.

All of my vomit was liquid (sorry for the gross bits) and anything I drink will come back up. Eating seems to be fine but because I have felt very ill I haven’t eaten too much. Anyway, my fourth time vomiting had soo much blood in it, and that’s what is really stressing me out Confused

Like I said, I will be booking an appointment first thing but it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment so I thought I could (hopefully) put my mind at rest until then Grin . Sorry for the gory details too.

Blood in vomit? Dial 111 for emergency appointment.

Dilligaf81 · 24/08/2019 22:12

I agree call 111, with those symptoms I wouldn't be waiting till after the bank holiday.

shiveringtimber · 24/08/2019 22:14

Ectopic pregnancy? Whatever it is, don't waste a second more on here - call 111.

TokyoSushi · 24/08/2019 22:14

Yep 111 because of the blood.

Dancingbea · 24/08/2019 22:15

You can get blood in your vomit from wrenching and vomiting so don’t freak out. However you are clearly stressed out and can’t wait 2 weeks to see a GP. Can you go to a walk in centre?

Dancingbea · 24/08/2019 22:15

Wretching not wrenching. Although that too probably

inwood · 24/08/2019 23:30

Walk in.

Rachelover40 · 24/08/2019 23:35

Definitely find a walk in centre, if there isn't one close to you, stagger into an A&E. Please don't wait until Tuesday.

There probably is a simple explanation for your symptoms in which case you'll be reassured but better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks everyone for your super quick replies! I ended up ringing 111 I wasn’t too sure in the first place but you’ve helped me feel like I wasn’t being silly to ring them.

I spoke to a lady who asked loadsss of questions but she admitted she didn’t know what it was which is fair enough over the phone would be difficult. She then got an out of hours to ring me and they basically said keep an eye on it and see how it goes today so I don’t think it was anything too serious after all.

Once again thank you for your replies and enjoy your bank holidays! Smile
