Ugh. Been away to Northern Italy 7-14th August and was bitten by mozzies. Around 28 bites just on one leg alone! I always react to bites and true to form I was itching all holiday. Ended up at the walk in centre when we came back and all clear no infection but bad reaction.
Seemed to improve for a good few days then started to itch again- nearly a week after the last bites!! The areas around some of the bites are bumpy and red like urticaria. I got some antihistamine cream in Italy and some weird dab on ammonia stick thing and am taking a small dose of antihistamine tablet at night as they knock me out.
Anyone else had such a long lasting or reoccurring problem with mozzie bites??
