Pneumonia Recovery

Hi, has anyone else had Pneumonia and struggled to get over it?
I returned from holiday 10 days ago with a bad fever. A&E thought it was malaria then sepsis but settled on Pneumonia. I've had IV antibiotics plus 2 lots of oral antibiotics but I'm absolutely knackered. I went back to work yesterday and was panicking about how much it took out of me just to walk from the car to the office.
How long will it take to feel normal again?

I was diagnosed with pneumonic last year and the doctor said to me that it can knock a fit 20 year old off their feet so I shouldn't be surprised at feeling ill at 60. I was feeling much better after about 3 weeks.
A friend who is 50 and a super fit athlete was off work 5 months after getting pneumonia.

I do not think you are ready to go back to work.
