cries and gets very upset when having a bowel movement? She is 15 months old and this has been happening on and off for a few weeks. You would expect her to be passing something quite hard but resulting nappies and usually quite soft and don't look like they would cause much trouble. She doesn't have nappy rash and goes very regularly, once a day. Sorry if TMI but has any one any ideas? I think I will take her to the GP after the weekend.

Maybe she feels suddenly aware of what's happening, out of control or frightened?

mumtodd,

My daughter did this when she was younger. They doctor checked for any obstructions or growths. Then she was sent to a specialist who did the exact same thing. Then finally they gave me some tips on how to help her. My concern is that by the time she 10 months she pretty much outgrew it and yours has just started a few weeks ago. Definitely get her in there and have it checked out.

Good Luck!!!!
