Had three lots of senna so far. No help. Belly is sore and bloated. Help!!

Drink a lot. Water, tea, juice. Tomorrow buy the bread with lots of seeds in. In general: Eat more fruit. Eat more vegetables. Go cheese-free for a few weeks.

Senna just makes the guts push harder, it doesn't soften the poo to make it easier to come out. Most people need a poo softener. Generally reckoned that the best one is laxido (alternative brand movicol) which for adults can be bought over the counter at pharmacies.

Milled linseed is really good (it's powder-like), salmon, tuna, loads of water - rather warm than cold
